>> Rachel: Welcome back, it's time for more Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show!

Lets get brushing! Start on the top of your mouth on one side, and brush all the way back to the molars.

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Rachel: It’s Money Week, and tonight we have more riddles!

Here’s your first one:

I’ll put this money in a bank

Or in a special jar

Maybe if I do it enough

I’ll be able to buy a car!

What am I doing when I put money in the bank or in a jar? What am I talking about?

>> GROUP: SAVING!

>> Rachel: Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, but don't brush too hard.

SAVING money is when you set it aside, and don’t SPEND it!  We use money to buy the things we want and need (Like buying food, clothes, and paying for our house or apartment) And if you have enough money after you buy the things you need, you get to make a choice: Do you use it to buy things you WANT, or do you SAVE it?

If you SAVE your money, you’ll be able to buy something bigger later. Or if there’s an emergency, you’ll have money to help take care of it.

Most people save some money if they can, because it can be a big help later on!

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and keep brushing!

Here’s another riddle:

I’m shopping in a store

And I see a little tag

It’s right on the thing I want to buy

On the box or on the bag.

What’s on the tag?

>> GROUP: THE PRICE

>> Rachel: The PRICE is how much money you need to give the store to buy something.  So the price of a popsicle might be one dollar.

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth.

Sometimes the price of what you want to buy is different than what it says on the price tag. Like if you take your popsicle to the cashier, and they ask for more or less than what the price tag says, your popsicle might be on sale! When something is on SALE, or discounted --the price will be less than what’s on the tag. Lucky you! (SFX YAY!)

That's it for Chompers tonight, but come back tomorrow to learn about more money! Until then,

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!
