It’s World Records Week! And today we’ve got some I Spies for you. That means I’ll describe something and you have to guess what it is!
Start brushing on the top of your mouth, and brush in little circles around each tooth.
>>KIDS: 3, 2, 1, brush!

>> RACHEL: Today's I Spies prove that ANYONE can set a record. Our records today were all set by DOGS! Here’s your first one:
I see tall and elegant dog. She’s speeding up and rushing toward a very high fence! Wait a minute - she’s jumping over it. Now she’s landing on the other side of the fence!
[CHEERING]
>> RACHEL: What world record is that? What do I Spy?
Find out after you Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>> RACHEL: and keep on brushing.
The record is:
>>GROUP: The highest jump by a dog!
>> RACHEL: Dogs can set world records, too!
[BARK]
>> RACHEL: And Feather the dog set the world record for the highest jump by a dog! Feather’s jump was over 75 inches high!
[WHISTLE SOUNDS]
>> RACHEL: That’s taller than a really tall grown-up!
>>KID: WOW!
>> RACHEL: Feather was adopted from a rescue center! And she’s a greyhound. Greyhound dogs have long legs, and they are really good at running.
[CARTOON RUNNING SOUNDS]
>> RACHEL: Switch to the bottom of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>> RACHEL: -and brush the molars in the way back.
Here’s another I Spy:
I see 100 balloons lined up on the ground. Are they for a party? Oh, noooooo, I see a dog rushing toward them and popping them one after the other! That looks like so much fun!
[BALLOONS POPPING]
>> RACHEL: What world record is this? What do I spy? Shout it out!
>>GROUP: The fastest a dog has popped 100 balloons.
>> RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>> RACHEL: -but don't brush too hard.
This world record was set by Toby the dog! He popped 100 balloons in only 28 seconds! That’s like how long you just brushed your molars in the way back! But Toby practiced a lot before he set this world record. He swam in a swimming pool filled up with balloons and popped them! Over and over again!
[POP!]
>> RACHEL: I kind of dizzy thinking about it.
