>> Rachel: Hey here, are you ready for more Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show?

>> Kids: Yeah!

>> Rachel: Well...good. Because here we are! Back with more Nature week. But first, start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, and give your tongue a quick brush too!

>> Kids: 3,2 1 brush!

>> Rachel: Tonight we're playing What’s That Sound ™ We will play a sound for you, and you have to guess what it is.

Here’s your first one!

[BANG!]

Did you catch it? Here’s that sound one more time:

[BANG!]

What’s that sound? Shout it out:

>> Kids: Thunder!

>> Rachel: Yeah! Thunder!

Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth, and make sure to reach the molars in the way back.

Thunder is the sound made by lighting. But we have SEE lightning before we HEAR thunder -- so it doesn’t seem like they’re the same thing.

But they ARE! Light travels really fast -- much faster than sound. So we SEE the lightning before we HEAR the thunder.

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and don’t forget those front teeth.

Here’s your next sound:

[Grunt Grunt]

What was that?! Here it is one more time:

[Grunt Grunt]

Got a guess? Shout it out!

>> Kids: A Hippo!

>> Rachel: A hippopotamus! Hippos are the world second largest land animal, the only land animal bigger is an... elephant!

Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and keep brushing.

Hippos spend most of their time in rivers and lakes, to keep cool. They can swim extremely well, and can stay underwater for five minutes!

But don’t be fooled by the size of hippos. hippos are really fast -- they can actually run faster than humans!

That’s it for Chompers tonight. Now all you have to do is-

>> Kids: 3, 2, 1 spit!
