It’s Coding Week, and I’m your friendly robot host Chomperbot! We’re back with more of the Robots you Chompions would program. Here’s Rachel with what you sent us.
Start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, and make little circles with your brush around each tooth.
>>KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>>RACHEL: Benjamin says he wants a flying robot…

>>RACHEL: And he isn’t the only one!
Gable wants a robot to fly him to the amusement park. Daniel would launch a rover robot into space to the dwarf planet Pluto.
[SFX Spacecraft]
>>RACHEL: And Frank says he’d make a robot to get the ball off the roof when his Dad throws it up there. Maybe Frank’s roof-robot could be a flying machine too!
Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>>RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth.
How about a ninja robot? Oliver wants a robot to train him to be a ninja.
Claire wants to build a robot to keep her brother out of her room. I wonder if Claire could use a ninja robot as her security guard.
[SFX Hiya!]
>>RACHEL: Speaking of brothers, another Chompion named Claire wants a robot that would change her baby brother’s diaper
[SFX Sniff/Pee-ew!]
>>RACHEL: Switch to the bottom of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>>RACHEL: -and keep brushing. Remember, robots do jobs for humans that are really hard to do or jobs we don’t really want to do. Homework can be that kind of job!
Juliet would build a robot to help her with homework. Annelise wants to save time by having her robot type for her.
[TYPING SOUNDS]
>>RACHEL: Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and but dont brush too hard.
A few Chompions wrote in to say they want a robot that helps them with their morning and night routine. Eloise and Violet would build a robot to read a bedtime story.
Piper and Tracy want a robot that picks out their clothes in the morning. They also want their robot to show them how to brush their teeth.
