>> Rachel: Welcome back! It’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

Start brushing on the top of your mouth, and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth.

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Rachel: It’s Pets Week, and tonight we’ve got more I Spies for you. We’ll describe a pet, and you get to guess what it is!

Here’s your first one:

I see a creature running around on four legs, but it’s not furry, it’s scaly and spiky like a lizard! It has a long tail, golden yellow scales, and around its neck it has little spikes that look like a little beard!

What pet do I Spy?

>> Group: A BEARDED DRAGON

>> Rachel: Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth and keep brushing.

Bearded Dragons are a type of lizard, and they’re a really popular pet. Bearded Dragons have a little pouch under their necks that they puff up when they feel upset, (SFX) and it’s how they got their name. People thought that little pouch looked like a beard! That little beard even turns black when they are REALLY upset.

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and brush the molars in the way back

Here’s one last I Spy:

I see a lizard with four legs, a tail, and scaly skin that’s covered in spots, kind of like a cheetah. This little guy has two big eyes, and a wide mouth that looks like a big smile! He’s scurrying around, snacking on a crunchy cricket.

What pet is this? Shout it out!

>> Group: A leopard gecko!!

>> Rachel: Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, but don't brush too hard

If you want to keep a leopard gecko or bearded dragon as a pet, you'll need a TERRARIUM to make your new pet a home. A terrarium is like a big glassbox that is filled with dirt, rocks, and plants. Terrariums are great homes for reptiles because they kind of feel being outside.

That’s it for Chompers tonight, but come back tomorrow for more great geckos and four legged friends!

Until then, rinse before you...

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!
